RB Wins Asia’s Leading Cabin Crew Award, Also Bags ASEAN Halal Brand Award

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 18th) Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) is proud to announce that it has once again received global recognition, having won the title of “Asia’s Leading Cabin Crew 2025” at the prestigious World Travel Awards.

This marks the fourth time RB has received this honour since 2020, further consolidating its leadership in outstanding service within the region. The accolade is intended to recognize the dedication and excellence of RB’s cabin crew.

The World Travel Awards are widely regarded as the benchmark of excellence in the tourism industry, honoring organizations that set the highest standards in their fields.

RB CEO Sabirin said: “We are extremely proud of our cabin crew for achieving this remarkable accomplishment. It demonstrates not only their world-class service standards but also their sincere passion for caring for our guests.”

In addition to this major achievement, Royal Brunei Airlines has also been awarded the 2025 ASEAN Halal Brand Award — its first time receiving this honour. This award recognizes outstanding brands in the ASEAN region which exemplify halal excellence, sustainability, and brand leadership.

Sabirin remarked: “We are truly honored to be recognized with the 2025 ASEAN Halal Brand Award for the first time. This recognition demonstrates our steadfast commitment to upholding halal values and standards across all aspects of our operations, ensuring every passenger experiences Bruneian hospitality with sincerity, care, and integrity.”

The awards ceremony was jointly organized by the ASEAN Halal Brand Awards Committee and Audience Analytics, Southeast Asia’s leading B2B media company, whose leading brands include SME Magazine, HR Asia, Capital Asia, Energy Asia, Customer Experience Asia, and TruthTV. The ceremony was held recently (16th) at the ASEAN SME100 Awards Gala Dinner at the One World Hotel in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

The dual recognition at the World Travel Awards and the 2025 ASEAN Halal Brand Awards highlights RB’s continued excellence in service and its commitment to Bruneian hospitality and halal integrity.

It also underscores RB’s dedication to becoming a trusted and respected national carrier, determined to represent the nation on the global stage.

Previously, RB has also received various stellar accolades, including the APEX “Best Cabin Service & Catering in East Asia 2025” award, further evidencing its consistent delivery of world-class and heartfelt service. RB is set to launch several innovative initiatives, such as upgrading inflight connectivity on its A320neo fleet and continued investment in elevating experiences for guests both onboard and beyond.
