Paris prosecutor Beccuau confirmed to the media on the 25th that four more individuals suspected of involvement in the Louvre heist have been arrested.

Beccuau said the four are two men and two women, all from the Paris region.

He indicated that among the newly arrested, the two men are aged 38 and 39, and the two women are aged 31 and 40.

He declined to disclose to the media the possible roles these four suspects played in the robbery.

Beccuau noted that four previously arrested suspects have already been charged.

According to earlier reports from French media, the four main suspects identified by police as being present at the scene of the Louvre heist have now all been apprehended.

On October 19th, four masked individuals arrived outside the Louvre, working together to operate a lifting device and infiltrate the building from an exterior balcony. Within minutes, they stole nine pieces of valuable jewelry and escaped from the Louvre. Except for a crown dropped by the robbers and found that same day, the whereabouts of the remaining eight stolen items are still unknown.
