(City News, 30th) Teng Yun Temple held a grand Ceremony of Respectful Invitation for Deities on the 28th of this month (Friday), successfully inviting the Jade Emperor, the Three Officials Great Emperor, the Five-Directions and Five-Lands Dragon Gods, and other deities to descend, creating a solemn and grand scene with enthusiastic participation from devotees.
This ceremony was also part of the birthday celebration for the City God, the Lord of Blessings and Virtue, and their Lady, personally led by the temple’s chairman Lee Yong Zhen, together with the board members and believers, sincerely praying for national peace, favorable weather, flourishing temple affairs, and well-being for all devotees.
During the ceremony, everyone offered incense and paid respects, firecrackers resounded, and the welcoming drums thundered, filling Teng Yun Temple with a rich religious atmosphere and a solemn spirit of faith.
