(City, 22nd) To celebrate the auspicious birthday of the local deity, Guangze Zunwang, Teng Yun Temple will grandly hold a ten-day series of "Opera Performances to Thank the Deity" from October 6 to October 17, 2025 (Lunar Calendar: August 15th to August 26th).
This celebration has specially invited the Xiamen Xiang'an Folk Opera School from Fujian, China to perform, with shows starting promptly at 8 p.m. each night until the conclusion. Traditional operas will be performed to thank the deity for his blessings, and to pray for favorable weather, national prosperity, plentiful harvests, and peace throughout the land.
During the event period, devotees may express their sincerity through "Thanksgiving Opera" in the following ways:
• If the temple arranges the tribute table, ritual paper, incense, and other devotional items, the fee per session is BND 3,800.
• If devotees provide their own tribute table, ritual paper, incense, and other devotional items, the fee per session is BND 3,000.
Those intending to express gratitude are kindly requested to register and pay at the Teng Yun Temple office.
Please note that, according to government regulations, there will be no performances on Thursday, October 9, 2025, and Thursday, October 16, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
