According to KCNA on the 18th, at the meeting, Kim Jong-un put forward policies regarding adapting to changing modes of modern warfare and the development trends of the Korean People’s Army, reforming the training system, and enhancing practical training.
Kim Jong-un stated that, with the rapid modernization of the Korean People’s Army’s military technology and equipment, all aspects of operational concepts must be redefined, and efforts should be actively made to incorporate these into the units’ combat training plans.
According to the report, Kim Jong-un emphasized ideological loyalty and vigilance against the 'main enemy'—a term North Korea uses to refer to South Korea.
