(Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd) Brunei's Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has announced that it will impose a temporary restriction on the airspace within a three nautical mile (5.56 km) radius above the Grand Square this Saturday.
The DCA stated in a release that this restriction is part of additional safety measures. Under this directive, unauthorized aircraft, including drones (unmanned aerial vehicles), are prohibited from flying in this airspace on that day.
Failure to comply with this regulation will be considered a violation of Brunei's laws and regulations, as stipulated in Section 50 of the Civil Aviation Order (CAP 290).
