(Kuala Belait, 28th) The Kuala Belait Chinese Changsheng Association today held a Qingming public memorial event to express deep respect and remembrance for the virtues and achievements of the forefathers.
The event was led by the Association's President, Chai Ting Tiam, with Vice President Yong Cheng Hing, and board members Chen Xinyang, Zhou Gui Sen, and Liu Ding Bao, among others, also participating. The board members carefully prepared offerings such as incense, tea, the traditional 'three sacrificial meats' and rice cakes, oranges, and joss paper. With sincere hearts, they visited the Chinese cemetery and the Chinese charitable cemetery in Kuala Belait, holding a solemn memorial ceremony in succession.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the board members first went to the Kuala Belait Chinese cemetery and the Chinese charitable cemetery to carry out the ritual activities, and later proceeded to the Tunku Hill Chinese Charitable Cemetery to continue paying respects to the forefathers, expressing their endless remembrance and admiration for those who came before.
