Eight treasures were stolen from the Louvre Museum in Paris, France on the 19th, with estimated financial losses reaching 88 million euros (431 million ringgit). However, the elevator manufacturer Böcker, whose lift was used by the thieves, seized the opportunity to humorously advertise, gaining significant attention online.

According to CNN, Alexander Böcker, the third-generation operator of the German company Böcker, said that he and his wife were quite shocked when they learned of the Louvre heist, as the criminals had actually used their elevator to commit the crime. After confirming that no one was injured in the incident, Böcker decided to make a dark-humored joke.

Böcker's company posted a photo of the elevator left at the scene on Instagram, claiming that "when you need to move items quickly, this is the ideal choice." The model, Böcker Agilo, can transport up to 400 kilograms of weight at a speed of 42 meters per minute, and the engine is exceptionally quiet.

Böcker said the company’s post received a lot of feedback, most of which was positive. He is very grateful that netizens understood their humor, and he is very satisfied with the results of the advertisement.
