(Matu, 10th) – The spirit of mutual assistance, long cherished by rural residents, has once again been carried forward—SK Sok National Primary School recently held a “Madani Cleaning” activity.
This event, organized by the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG), not only cleaned up the school environment, but also provided students with a platform to cultivate a spirit of volunteerism from a young age.
SK Sok PTA Chairman Awang Radin Awang Salleh stated that the participation of various parties in the activity further strengthened the relationships among teachers, students, parents, and villagers.
“When everyone comes together and participates wholeheartedly, the true spirit of unity and cooperation is realized.
It’s not just about cleaning the school; we are also fostering community cohesion and a sense of solidarity,” he said.
Awang Radin pointed out that allowing students to experience a culture of mutual assistance and tolerance from an early age is helpful in nurturing their concern for the surrounding environment.
“Activities like this should not be limited to the school, but should also be promoted throughout the village so that more people can benefit,” he added.
He also expressed gratitude to Igan Member of Parliament Ahmad Johnie Zawawi for his ongoing support of school activities and efforts to enhance both academic and extracurricular pursuits.
The event was also joined by personnel from the Dalat Fire and Rescue Department, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), and local residents, who together helped clean up the school campus.
