Kweichow Moutai Achieves Growth in Both Revenue and Profit in Q1 This Year

China’s Kweichow Moutai has released its latest quarterly financial report, showing total revenue for the first quarter of 2026 exceeded 54.7 billion yuan (31.7 billion ringgit), with increases in both revenue and profit.

According to a report from China News Service, Kweichow Moutai published its Q1 2026 report last Friday (April 24th) in the evening.

The report shows that in the first quarter, Kweichow Moutai achieved total operating revenue of 54.703 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.34%; total profit reached 37.543 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.38%.

The net profit attributable to the parent company was 27.243 billion yuan (15.8 billion ringgit), a year-on-year increase of 1.47%, with both revenue and profit achieving simultaneous growth, demonstrating initial results from market-oriented reforms.

Of this, Moutai liquor achieved revenue of 46.005 billion yuan, up 5.62% year-on-year, continuing to play the role of a stabilizer. The Moutai sauce-flavored liquor series brought in revenue of 7.881 billion yuan, up 12.22% year-on-year, maintaining a strong growth momentum.

On another note, iMoutai (a digital marketing platform launched by Kweichow Moutai in 2022) achieved sales revenue of 21.553 billion yuan from January to March this year, a year-on-year increase of 267.16%.

By the end of March, the company's cash balance stood at 177.968 billion yuan (103.379 billion ringgit), up 40.77% compared to the beginning of the year, ensuring ample cash flow.
