(Jakarta, 14th) The Indonesian Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is continuously strengthening the connection between MSMEs and large industries through mechanisms like MSME holding or supply chain partnerships.

The Deputy Minister of this department, Bagus Rahman, stated at the "Diplomat Success Challenge" (DSC) event held this Friday in Jakarta, that Indonesia's MSMEs still face numerous challenges, including limited access to capital, insufficient human resources development, ineffective promotion, and lack of infrastructure support.

Bagus pointed out that the supply chain cooperation model is expected to enhance the economic scale, business management capabilities, product market expansion, and financing channels of MSMEs.

He emphasized that intergovernmental collaboration is crucial for establishing a resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem.

"The role of the government is to formulate regulations, build infrastructure, and provide support through policies; whereas the private sector should focus on innovation, investment, and technology development," he said.

Bagus also expressed appreciation for the commitment shown by various supporting units, including the Wismilak Foundation, in promoting the development of Indonesian MSMEs and uncovering entrepreneurial potential through the DSC program.

He stated, "DSC is a platform that connects creative talents with business opportunities and also encourages cooperation and innovation in the tourism sector."

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the DSC Supervisory Committee, Surjato Yasaputra, stated that DSC's collaboration with various external entities is an important initiative to address the economic challenges currently faced by Indonesia.

He reiterated that DSC is committed to facilitating multi-party collaboration and having a positive impact on the domestic economy and business sectors.

Surjato added that the diversity of Indonesia's current economic challenges makes the "spirit of collaboration" an important foundation for developing innovative solutions in the future.
