(Bandar Seri Begawan, 23rd) The BCH Alumni Association continues to promote the development of the association and the optimization of its spaces, actively creating a more cohesive and vibrant platform for member interactions and encouraging more members to return to the clubhouse to participate in activities.

Lin Weifa, President of the BCH Alumni Association, stated that in preparation for the upcoming Academic Excellence Award Ceremony for members' children, the committee members have recently taken part in organizing and beautifying the clubhouse themselves, including repainting and tidying up the 'Zeng Ruiji Hall' on the second floor, to enhance the overall environment and create a more solemn and comfortable atmosphere for the event.

He said that since the purchase of the clubhouse in 1992, it has not only witnessed the changes of the times, but has also borne witness to the growth and achievements of generations of graduates. Many alumni have now developed successful careers in various fields of society. Therefore, the alumni association hopes that members can often ‘return home’ to gather and communicate, in order to continue the bonds of friendship and sense of belonging.

He emphasized that as a non-profit community organization, the alumni association has always adhered to the principles of frugality and pragmatism. Most of the association’s affairs and space maintenance work is personally undertaken by the committee members themselves, fulfilling the purpose of serving members through practical actions and ensuring that resources are more effectively used for member activities and development.

He also pointed out that the alumni association will continue to promote more regular member activities in the future, with current pilot projects including tai chi, singing, and table tennis. It is hoped that this will attract more members to come to the clubhouse, promote interaction and communication, and gradually build the club into a shared space that integrates socializing, activities, and physical and mental development.

He said that the key to the development of the association lies in continuity and succession. He hopes that, through a diversity of activities and intergenerational connections, more young members will get involved, ensuring that the spirit of the alumni association can be carried on.
