Brunei Football Referee Training Enhances Professional Officiating Level

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 22nd) The Brunei Football Referees Association recently held the second phase of its football referee training course at the Balakas Sports Centre football field, further improving the local referees’ officiating skills and professional capabilities.
This training aims to deepen referees’ understanding and mastery of refereeing standards and the latest football competition rules, thereby strengthening the nurturing and development of football officiating talent in Brunei.
The course was conducted by FIFA-certified technical instructor Hadimin, with Pengiran Mohd Saiful serving as the local technical instructor.
In addition, former FIFA referees Abu Rah and Ali Faisal were invited to assist in teaching, sharing their officiating experiences and professional knowledge with the participants.
The Brunei Football Referees Association stated that this training is an important part of the association’s ongoing referee professional development program, aiming to enhance referees’ knowledge, professionalism, and officiating ability. The association encourages referees to continue further study and self-improvement to maintain the high standards, integrity, and professional ethics expected of football referees.
Brunei Football Referees Association chairman Rosman Aidie and former chairman Pengiran Aliuddin also attended the training activity, expressing their support and attention to local referee development efforts.
