The Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories), Zaleha, pointed out that the meeting records of the Kuala Lumpur, Labuan, and Putrajaya Federal Territories Pardon Board are classified documents. Therefore, the government will not disclose the details of the Pardon Board's discussions concerning former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib's request for a pardon.

When asked about this today (9th), Zaleha, who is one of the members of the Pardon Board, said: "So we cannot disclose this matter (meeting records), as it is within the rights of the Pardon Board."

She provided a brief response after attending the launch of the Self-Service Machine (Kiosk Sentuhan MADANI) by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar.

Yesterday, the Chairman of the International Affairs Bureau of the People's Justice Party, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Iskandar, suggested that the government disclose the details of the Pardon Board meeting records to the public, in order to clarify the facts and stop speculations regarding Najib being granted permission to serve the remainder of his sentence at home.
