(Serian, 27th) The Royal Malaysia Police Sarawak Contingent Headquarters (PDRM Sarawak) continues to pay close attention to the preparedness of security forces in strategic areas, including Serian, to ensure local safety and public order are safeguarded.
Sarawak Police Commissioner Dato' Mohd Azman Abdullah particularly emphasized this matter during his inspection of the Serian District Police Headquarters (IPD Serian) yesterday.
This working visit also served as a platform for the top leadership of the Sarawak police to convey directives and working guidelines to all personnel at the Serian District Police Headquarters, while further strengthening the officers’ commitment to fulfilling their duties and serving the community.
Mohd Azman and his delegation arrived at the Serian Police District Headquarters at 8:30 a.m., where they were welcomed by Serian District Police Chief Superintendent Freddy Bian Stanislaus Bian, Deputy Chief Deputy Superintendent Jaimi Husin, as well as department heads, team leaders, station chiefs, and all headquarter staff.
Upon arrival, Mohd Azman received a salute and inspected the Guard of Honour (GTO), enjoyed a welcoming dance performance, and then signed the visitor's book and took group photos at the Serian Police Station.
Subsequently, the Sarawak Police Commissioner attended a briefing session in the meeting room of the Serian Police District Headquarters. Activities included welcome speeches, a prayer, and a briefing presented by the Serian District Police Chief.
During the session, Mohd Azman also addressed all personnel at the Serian Police Headquarters, outlining the future direction of police work, and emphasized the need to continually fulfill their commitment to ensure police service remains at its best.
At the same time, this visit also further strengthened the connection between the leadership of the state police headquarters and district officers, highlighting team spirit and the joint responsibility to safeguard safety and public order.
The activities then moved to the Pengaman Hall at the Serian Police Headquarters, featuring a luncheon, cultural dance performances, and presentation of food baskets and souvenirs to the widows of nine deceased retired police officers.
