The founder of Spanish fast-fashion brand MANGO died after falling off a cliff at the end of last year. The incident has now been reclassified as a suspected homicide investigation, with the founder's son as the main suspect.

MANGO founder Andic (aged 71) tragically fell from a cliff while hiking in the mountainous outskirts of Barcelona on December 14 of last year, shocking the international community.
MANGO has around 2,800 stores worldwide.
MANGO is one of Europe's largest fashion groups, with approximately 2,800 stores globally.

Spain’s El País reported on the 16th, citing sources, that police in the northeast region of Catalonia have reclassified the investigation from an accidental incident to a suspected homicide, with the focus of the investigation on Andic's son, Jonathan Andic.

It is reported that at the time of the incident, only Jonathan and Andic were together, and the two eyewitness statements provided by Jonathan contradicted each other, arousing police suspicion.

It is further reported that Jonathan’s description of the course of events does not match the findings from the on-site investigation conducted by the Catalan police at Montserrat.

Andic’s partner, Fania Knut, emphasized in another statement that the "father-son relationship was not harmonious." Knut is a professional golfer.

Andic, who was born in Turkey, moved with his family to Barcelona, Spain in 1969. In 1984, he co-founded MANGO in Barcelona with a partner.
