The commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, Tangsiri, stated on social media on the 18th that oil facilities related to the United States would be placed on the same level as US military bases and would come under heavy artillery attack.

According to Iranian media reports, parts of petrochemical facilities in South Pars and Assaluyeh, Bushehr Province, Iran, were attacked by the United States and Israel that day.

On the 18th, the National Iranian Gas Company issued a statement saying that the attack had damaged part of the South Pars gas field facilities, but there were no casualties. The fire caused by the attack has now been extinguished and gas production is ongoing.

Meanwhile, on the 18th, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued an emergency warning stating that oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar had become legitimate targets.

The IRGC stated that Saudi Arabia's Samref Refinery and Jubail Petrochemical Complex, the UAE's Al Hosn Gas Field, Qatar's Mesaieed Petrochemical Complex and Ras Laffan Refinery (phases 1 and 2), as well as Mesaieed Holding Company, have become legitimate targets and will be attacked within the next few hours. Residents in surrounding areas should move to safe zones as soon as possible.

The statement added that clear warnings had been repeatedly issued to the relevant countries previously: 'However, they have still chosen to continue blindly obeying, making decisions imposed from abroad that do not reflect the will of their own people. Therefore, any consequences arising from this will be their full responsibility.'
