Asian Junior Wushu Championship Concludes: Brunei Wins 2 Golds, 3 Silvers, and 1 Bronze

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 30th) On the third day of the 12th Asian Junior Wushu Championship, Brunei’s Women’s Youth Group Duilian (Group Set), consisting of Lin Wanxin, Li Zhense, and Li Zhenqin, showed great teamwork with balanced offense and defense. Although it was their first time participating, they competed with high morale and a strong fighting spirit. In the end, they scored 9.350 points to win the silver medal. The gold medal went to Hong Kong with 9.366 points, and the bronze medal went to Macau with 9.333 points. 
The three-day competition concluded today, and Brunei’s Wushu team achieved an excellent result with 2 golds, 3 silvers, and 1 bronze.
During this Asian Championship, the Brunei Wushu athletes demonstrated discipline, respect for referees and opponents, and mutual support among teammates, truly embodying team spirit. They also received high praise from other teams and referees.
After the competition, Brunei’s head coach Li Hui gave the athletes a summary, emphasizing that learning from others and training hard is the key to faster improvement.
He also expressed his gratitude to Brunei’s Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Brunei Wushu Association, and the sponsor SUCI for their strong support.
