(Seria, 15th) The Seria Chung Ching Kindergarten's “Shining Star” training class has officially commenced. This program is specially designed for K3 students, offering afternoon courses aimed at enhancing interactive learning between children and teachers, and further consolidating knowledge learned in the classroom.
The “Shining Star” training program consists of 8 sessions, held every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. The curriculum is diverse and engaging, covering arts and crafts, storytelling, cooking activities, singing and games, and educational field trips. This year, the training class is themed “SpongeBob and Patrick Star,” allowing children to learn and grow joyfully.
The training program revolves around the storyline of “SpongeBob and Patrick Star.” Teachers have thoughtfully designed a series of interesting and engaging activities, helping students learn through visual, auditory, and hands-on experiences.
Activities include craft pompom creation, lunchbox design, making periscopes and binoculars, wishing bottles and SpongeBob’s house, kelp milkshake preparation, and learning to sing the SpongeBob theme song. In the process of “looking, touching, and playing,” children naturally acquire new knowledge and cultivate creativity and imagination.
In addition to classroom activities, the training class has also arranged an educational field trip, bringing the students to explore and learn at the Seria Energy Center. Through tours and explanations, children further their knowledge about energy usage and related topics, broadening their horizons in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
To provide an even richer learning experience, the kindergarten has specially arranged outdoor games, which are always a favorite among the children. These games not only bring joy but also foster teamwork and cooperation.
During the event, the children were divided into five groups. Within a set time, they searched for jellyfish patterns and their self-made wishing jars on the school's playground, and participated in relay races and ball games. The atmosphere was filled with laughter as the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and went home delighted.
