(Bandar Seri Begawan, 14th) The Brunei Supreme Court reminds the public to stay alert and beware of scam text messages and automated voice calls impersonating the Brunei High Court.

The Supreme Court stated that it has recently received reports of suspicious text messages and phone calls, asking recipients to press "0" to speak with an operator, or instructing them to take other actions.

The Supreme Court stresses that such text messages and automated voice calls are not sent or authorized by the court.

The authorities urge the public not to respond to, or act according to, the instructions in such messages and calls, nor to disclose any personal information, financial data, bank account information, or other sensitive details to the caller.

If you need to verify whether a communication claiming to be from the court is genuine, you may contact the Brunei Supreme Court directly at: +673 2235842.
