(Miri, 2nd) As the year renews and all things flourish in spring, on this auspicious occasion of the Lunar New Year, our temple will be holding a Spring Blessing Ceremony, sincerely offering to the Buddha, performing the traditional offering to the heavens, and respectfully chanting scriptures, dedicating the pure sounds of Buddhist chants to all directions.
During the ceremony, classic scriptures will be recited in collective cultivation and for blessings: every volume of scripture opens Prajna wisdom; with everyone chanting together, pure aspirations are united.
The organizers sincerely invite all devotees from all directions to attend enthusiastically, chant together, and cultivate and wish collectively. Under the solemn guidance of the Master, wholesome thoughts are gathered, merit and wisdom increased, and auspicious causes and conditions are planted for the coming year.
The organizers stated that they dedicate the merits of the event to the prosperity of the nation, social stability, favorable weather; and pray that everyone enjoys good health, family harmony, and smooth careers.

Recitation of 'The Compassionate Samadhi Water Repentance Sutra'
March 8 (20th day of the first lunar month)
8:30AM to 5:30PM
'Offering to the Buddha & Celestial Beings', 'Medicine Buddha Sutra', 'Eighty-Eight Buddhas'
Venue: Miri Buddhist Laymen Association Great Buddha Hall
Offering Options:
Physical Blessing Tablet: RM150
Electronic Blessing Tablet: Any amount (no limit on number of people)
Offering to Celestial Beings: RM100 (limited to 200 people, first come, first served)
Those who make offerings to Celestial Beings will receive a set of ten offerings as a gift.
