Huang Zhi Jiao Sells House to Raise Reconciliation Funds - 6.25 Million Sought for Suspected 'Self-Destructive Video' Location

In 2023, the entertainment industry was rocked by a MeToo bombshell. Top host Huang Zhi Jiao was exposed for having lured underage girls to take nude photos, which devastated both his image and career. With his income reduced to zero, he now also has to bear the reconciliation payments for 47 victims, initially estimated at nearly ten million yuan (about one million ringgit). Recently, Huang was reported to have sold his car and rented out his studio, and now media reports reveal that Huang is seeking to sell a "private space" located in an alley off Taipei's Xinsheng North Road. This property is suspected to be the very place where he filmed his 'self-destructive exposé' video.

According to reports, Huang's "private space" is currently being offered through an agent at the low price of 43 million yuan (about 6.25 million ringgit). Property listing platforms show that the unit is 13 years old, with 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, and 3 parking spaces. The registered area is a total of 69.14 ping, with an actual interior area of 27.7 ping, averaging about 710,000 yuan per ping. In comparison, another 3-bedroom, 2-living room, 2-bathroom unit in the same community is listed at 53.8 million yuan, about 800,000 yuan per ping, making Huang's property appear much cheaper.

From the photos shown on the property listing website, the wooden flooring and wooden table inside look similar to those in the scene of Huang Zhi Jiao's 'self-destructive exposé' video filmed two years ago, suggesting this may indeed be the place where he self-harmed.
