(Kuala Lumpur, 22nd) After Bersatu took major actions to expel several leaders and Members of Parliament, resignations of chairpersons and committee members have occurred in various divisions and wings across the country. Bersatu National President Tan Sri Muhyiddin stated that the party is currently reorganizing these affected divisions and wings.

He said that Bersatu has established a special task force led by Vice Presidents Datuk Mohd Razi and Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal to handle the reorganization process for all affected divisions and wings.

He added that Bersatu Secretary-General Datuk Seri Azmin Ali is in charge of the secretariat for this special task force.

In a press statement, Muhyiddin pointed out that the party has already instructed all state leaderships to identify the affected divisions.

He said that the reorganization work includes appointing acting chairpersons or establishing new committees according to the party constitution.

He added that the involved wings will also be reorganized through acting chairpersons and the formation of new committees.

He emphasized that every division in Bersatu is prepared to shoulder the major responsibility of strengthening the party's backup team and engaging active members.

"I believe that many members who are loyal to the party's struggle will be willing to take up this responsibility."

Muhyiddin also stressed that Bersatu is committed to Perikatan Nasional's struggle; therefore, he will attend the Perikatan Nasional Supreme Council meeting today.

He said that Perikatan Nasional will appoint the coalition chairman at the meeting, as well as decide on matters relating to the consolidation and strengthening of Perikatan Nasional.
