(Bandar Seri Begawan, 3rd) The Royal Brunei Police Force, through its Islamic religious institution, recently held a Yasin recitation, prayer, and thanksgiving ceremony at the Police Gadong Prayer Room in conjunction with the 105th Police Day commemoration.
This religious event aims to express gratitude and to seek the protection, grace, and forgiveness of Allah the Almighty, so that all police members may constantly receive His protection, and gain safety, resilience, and spiritual strength in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities.
The ceremony was personally led by Police Commissioner Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Sulaiman. Also in attendance were Deputy Police Commissioner Royalty Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammad Saifullah, various department directors and deputy directors, senior officers, as well as ordinary police officers and civilian staff.
The ceremony began with a congregational evening prayer, led by Sergeant Mohd Yusri as imam, followed by the recitation of Surah Yasin and a memorial prayer, and ended with a prayer of gratitude, with a special supplication for Allah to protect members of the force from all threats and misfortune.
The ceremony reflects the Royal Brunei Police Force's ongoing efforts to strengthen the practice of religious values, while also consolidating the members’ spiritual awareness and unity, demonstrating the force’s continuous commitment to serve religion, nation, and country with integrity, sincerity, and dedication.
