Different generations have their own favorite stars, and recently, an international market research and data analysis company surveyed the "Generation Z," which consists of people aged 12 to 27, to choose their favorite movie stars. The results were surprising!
According to the top 25 winners, it turns out that Gen Z tends to prefer older stars, with only 7 of the 25 individuals being under the age of 40. They include Zendaya, Tom Holland, Ariana Grande, Jenna Ortega, and Florence Pugh. The top spot goes to the 52-year-old American action movie star Dwayne Johnson, who surprisingly beat out many Hollywood A-listers. Originally a wrestler, he successfully transitioned to acting and has starred in many films popular among the younger generation, including the two "Jumanji" movies and the "Fast & Furious" series. Following Dwayne Johnson is the rising Hollywood star "Deadpool" Ryan Reynolds. Additionally, the positively regarded Tom Cruise ranks 4th.
As for actresses, Zendaya becomes Gen Z's favorite female star at number 1. Other fan-favorite actresses like Scarlett Johansson and Margot Robbie also made it to the list.
