(Seria, 5th) The Ma Shi Chinese Charity Association will continue to follow the mission passed down by ancient sages and predecessors, and once again hold the annual Spring Ancestral Blessing Ceremony.
Led by Chairman Lu Shunnian, together with members of the Amitabha Society of Brunei District, the Association held the 2026 Bingwu Year Qingming Spring Ancestral Rite this morning at the Tengku Hill Public Cemetery and Seria Seaside Cemetery, aiming to promote traditional filial piety and the spirit of honoring ancestors and remembering the departed. The Board of Directors of the Charity Association sincerely invites various Chinese associations or society leaders in Ma Shi, sponsors of the Charity Association, and Chinese residents of Ma Shi to participate in this annual Qingming ceremony.
With Qingming Festival approaching, as one of the major traditional Chinese festivals, every family will surely be busy worshipping their relatives and ancestors.
After the ceremonial rites at Tengku Hill Public Cemetery are completed, the same rituals will be successively performed at other cemeteries. Upon completion of the ceremony, the Association will host a luncheon for all participants.
