(Sishi, 11th) Jiuting Chinese School held an 'Oral Health and Dental Care Activity' on the morning of May 9 (Saturday) at its 'Wen Hui Hall'. Dental hygienists from the Ministry of Health's dental services department were specially invited to the school to deliver an oral health lecture and dental care activities for all kindergarten teachers and students. The event was successfully held from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
The purpose of this event was to help children develop correct oral hygiene habits from an early age and to enhance their awareness of caring for their teeth and oral health. On that day, 10 dental hygienists visited Jiuting Chinese School and brought a variety of engaging activities for the children, including health lectures, fun skits, quizzes with prizes, demonstrations of proper tooth brushing, and group brushing practice. These activities allowed the children to learn about dental care in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
In addition, the dental hygienists also applied fluoride varnish to the students' teeth for extra protection.
