(Bandar Seri Begawan, 30th) The Brunei Police Spouses and Family Association recently held a charity event to donate to orphans of police officers, benefiting a total of 76 orphans.
The event was officiated by the association's chairwoman, Azmah, who is also the wife of the Acting Commissioner of Police, as the guest of honor at the presentation ceremony.
The association's Orphan Fund was established in 2007, funded by donations from officers and members of the Royal Police Force, individuals, and other contributions within Brunei. The fund was created solely to assist orphans, particularly the children of officers and police force members. This donation aims to alleviate the burdens on single mothers and reduce the expenses for orphans at the start of the new school term.
