(Kuala Belait , 30th) Jointly organized by the Belait District Bicycle Club, Kampong Lambak Kiri Recreational Cycling Club, Kampong Lambak Kiri Recreational Running Club, and the Belait District Village Consultative Council, the BSRC Hayamman 2024 Challenge was successfully held yesterday.
Approximately 28 participants from across the country took to the streets, completing the arduous two-part challenge, which included experienced veterans as well as eager new runners and cyclists. The challenge started at the Kampong Lambak Kiri Recreational Club, aiming to provide a challenge for both runners and cyclists to complete a total crisscrossing route of 38 kilometers.
This race was held in conjunction with the Sultan's 78th birthday celebration. Participants competed in three categories: Men's Open, Women's Open, and Team Competition.
Chief Awang Haji Mu'Kin of Belait flagged off the participants. The challenge was divided into three segments: participants first completed a 5-kilometer lap, then switched to cycling for 28 kilometers, and finally finished with a 5-kilometer run.
