Cartoon Character Competition Held with Great Enthusiasm – Students Showcase Creativity and Style

(Seria, 19th) The English Department of Chung Cheng Primary School, Seria recently held a unique and successful "Lower Primary Favorite Cartoon and Book Character Competition." The event attracted nearly thirty students to participate enthusiastically. Through creative costumes and outstanding speeches, students demonstrated their love for cartoon and book characters, creating a lively atmosphere full of laughter and joy.

During the competition, participants were required to dress up as their favorite cartoon or book character and give an unscripted speech on stage, explaining to the judges and audience why they liked the character and how the character inspired them. The students performed with confidence and poise, speaking fluently and striking the best poses in line with their characters’ traits, earning cheers from the audience. Additionally, the school encouraged all teachers and students to dress up according to the theme, adding even more fun and excitement to the event.

After an intense competition, the list of winners for each grade group is as follows:

Grade One:
Champion: Hao La (Grade One Jasmine Class)
1st Runner-up: Tang Liya (Grade One Tulip Class)
2nd Runner-up: Muli (Grade One Tulip Class)

Grade Two:
Champion: Chen Zongcheng (Grade Two Tulip Class)
1st Runner-up: Yang Jinmi (Grade Two Tulip Class)
2nd Runner-up: He Xiaowen (Grade Two Jasmine Class)

Grade Three:
Champion: Wang Yi (Grade Three Lily Class)
1st Runner-up: Zhang Rou (Grade Three Jasmine Class)
2nd Runner-up: La Qi (Grade Three Jasmine Class)

This competition not only strengthened students’ English language abilities, but also inspired their creativity and self-confidence. The school stated that similar activities will continue to be organized in the future, providing more stages for students to showcase their talents and fostering a positive and uplifting campus culture.
