At midnight on the 10th, Bangkok police arrested two Chinese nationals involved in drug-related offenses at an apartment and seized various evidences.

According to the Thailand Headline News Agency, the apartment is located in the Sathon District. Multiple residents had previously reported to the Anti-Narcotics Operation Center, claiming that a group of robustly built Chinese men regularly gathered in the building, were suspected of drug use and caused noise disturbances, as well as engaged in public disorder behaviors. These included running naked in the apartment’s public areas, banging on residents’ doors and causing panic, even frightening children and causing them to cry. The situation eventually affected the apartment lobby. Property management personnel were unable to restrain them and were met with strong resistance, resulting in long-term disturbances for the residents.

According to the police report, the two arrested Chinese nationals are identified as 36-year-old Li and 29-year-old Cai. Both are charged with illegal possession and use of category I drugs (methamphetamine, ecstasy).

Items seized at the scene include about 100 syringes, four bags of methamphetamine and ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and several scales, 10 mobile phones, one iPad (which police stated contained a large number of obscene videos), equipment suspected to be used for making obscene content and a large amount of sex products, as well as approximately 100,000 Thai baht in cash.

Additionally, investigations revealed that this group has a high following on the X platform, with around 600,000 fans, and the related account had previously published images or videos involving inappropriate content. One of the suspects confessed that he and accomplices jointly operated an OnlyFans account, generating income in the millions of baht.

When questioned by police, Cai appeared dazed, spoke incoherently, and had multiple suspected injection marks. During the initial interrogation, Cai argued that the drugs in the room belonged to Li and denied that his naked running in the apartment was related to drug use. Police stated that allegations concerning the production of obscene materials and dissemination via computer systems are still under investigation, with follow-up charges to be laid in accordance with the law.
