Norwegian police stated on the 27th that the 28-year-old son of the Norwegian Crown Princess is involved in 3 rape cases and more than 10 other crimes.
The police's legal representative, Kruzewski, pointed out at a press conference that the 10-month investigation has been handed over to the prosecutor, who will decide whether to bring charges.
According to AFP, Crown Princess Mette-Marit had a son with her boyfriend, who is now 28-year-old Marius Borg Høiby. In 2001, Crown Princess Mette-Marit married Crown Prince Haakon, later giving birth to two more children.
Last August, Høiby was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend and was subsequently investigated by police.
Kruzewski said Høiby is suspected of "one count of rape involving sexual intercourse" as well as "two counts of rape not involving sexual intercourse."
Høiby is also suspected of "four counts of indecent acts, one count of abuse in an intimate relationship, two counts of bodily harm, one count of intentional property damage, one count of intimidation, five counts of violating restraining orders, one count of insulting a police officer, and five counts of traffic violations."
Høiby's lawyer told local media that his client denies the three rape allegations.
