A criminally notorious man from Anhui Province, China, was recently executed, receiving his due retribution.
On the 3rd, the Intermediate People’s Court of Xuancheng City, Anhui, revealed that a man surnamed Shen, born after 1995, had raped multiple underage females—among them five girls under the age of fourteen—and used minors to engage long-term in acts of provoking trouble, gang fights, and illegal detention, among other criminal activities. He was executed on October 30.
Lured 20 Girls into Prostitution
According to China’s “Jimu News,” Shen was born in November 1995. By offering food, accommodation, entertainment, and assistance in settling disputes, he enticed 40 minors and young adults, and long-term used minors to carry out criminal activities including provoking trouble, gang fights, illegal detention, among others; he lured 19 underage girls and 1 adult woman into prostitution. He established a reputation among the youth in Jing County’s urban area, gradually forming a criminal group with himself as the ringleader.
The court announcement stated that Shen raped or sexually assaulted 8 underage girls, including 5 very young girls. Following relevant provisions of the criminal law, the Xuancheng Intermediate Court sentenced Shen to death for rape and deprived him of political rights for life. These penalties were combined with sentences for organizing prostitution, provoking trouble, organizing minors to carry out acts against public order, illegal detention, accommodating drug use, fraud, drug trafficking, and gang fighting. The court determined the death penalty, lifetime deprivation of political rights, and confiscation of all personal property.
The announcement also pointed out that Shen had appealed but was rejected. On October 30, Shen was escorted to the execution ground and the death penalty was carried out.
