(Miri, 14th) Kinsar Basketball Club will be holding a Chinese New Year Shooting Competition this year on the first day of the Lunar New Year (January 29) at 2 PM in the Pei Min Middle School Gymnasium. Basketball enthusiasts are welcome to participate.
This Lunar New Year shooting competition is open to basketball enthusiasts, and the Jinsha Club has prepared 16 red packets totaling 10,000 Ringgit for the winners to claim.
As per tradition, the Kinsar Club holds a shooting competition during the Lunar New Year. To encourage participation from all players, the club's officials have increased the prize amounts for the three groups in the upcoming Lunar New Year shooting competition to stimulate all participants.
The shooting competition will begin at 2 PM on the first day of the Lunar New Year. All participants must arrive by 1:30 PM for registration at the organizer's desk, wearing proper sports attire and shoes. Latecomers or those not properly attired will be denied participation.
This year's shooting competition will have three categories. The first is the three-point shooting competition (1-minute time limit). Participants can choose any angle to shoot from the three-point line. The top three players who score the most three-pointers within 1 minute will be winners, receiving red packets valued at 1200 Ringgit for the champion, 800 Ringgit for the runner-up, and 500 Ringgit for the third place.
The second category is the free-throw line shooting competition (30-second time limit). Participants must shoot from the designated free-throw line. Each player's time is 30 seconds, and the top three scorers will be winners, with red packets valued at 1200 Ringgit, 800 Ringgit, and 500 Ringgit for the champion, runner-up, and third place, respectively.
Additionally, the club is offering a half-court shooting competition with ten red packets, each worth 500 Ringgit. Participants must shoot from the half-court, specifically from the center jump ball line, to win a red packet by making a basket.
