(Kuching, 26th) The 2025 Kenyalang Lunar New Year Market will be held from January 14 to 28, 2025, at the Kenyalang Commercial Centre.
During a press conference today, Kuching South City Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng stated that the 2025 Kenyalang Lunar New Year Market, lasting 15 days, will bring a strong Lunar New Year atmosphere to the community and provide economic opportunities for businesses and residents.
He revealed that booth applications are now open, with a total of 270 booths available for rent.
“The rental for each booth is RM150 (4 feet x 8 feet). If the owner or tenant applies for two adjacent booths, the charge for each booth is RM100. The Kuching South City Council will draw lots to select successful applicants after the application deadline.”
He stated that interested citizens and businesses can collect application forms at Counter 9 of the Kuching South City Council One-Stop Service Center from now until December 13.
Wee Hong Seng reminded that completed application forms must be submitted to Counter 9 of the Kuching South City Council One-Stop Service Center by 4 PM on December 13. Late applications will not be accepted.
