Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar today is on his second day of visit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), meeting with several managers of UAE sovereign wealth funds.
In one-on-one business meetings, Anwar first met with the CEO of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), Mohamed Jameel, followed by the managing director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Sheikh Hamid, and the managing director and CEO of Mubadala, the UAE's second-largest sovereign investment fund, Khaldoon Khalifa.
After the meetings, Anwar proceeded to Dubai's Zabeel Palace, about 150 kilometers away, to pay a courtesy visit to the UAE's Vice President and Prime Minister, as well as the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
The parties are expected to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and exploring cooperation opportunities in renewable energy, food and energy security, artificial intelligence, and data centers, while also exchanging views on regional and global issues of mutual concern.

Anwar arrived in the UAE on Sunday for a three-day working visit, at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW).
The cabinet ministers accompanying Anwar on the visit include Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul, Minister of Higher Education Datuk Seri Zambry, and senior government officials. #
