(Bandar Seri Begawan, 12th) In response to Brunei’s Sultan’s 79th birthday celebration, the Persatuan Motosikal Kembara Motorcycle Association recently organized a convoy of around 20 members, heading to Sipitang, Sabah, to carry out a charity mission and extend a helping hand to impoverished communities.
This philanthropic effort was personally led by the association’s President, Alihas, and Vice President, Mohamad Azri. Members included retired military personnel and seniors from both public and private sectors.
They donated cash, daily necessities, and used clothing to 10 local orphans and several impoverished families including elderly members, delivering warmth and care through practical actions.
The association, established in 2001, is the nation’s second legally registered motorcycle association after the Darussalam Motorcycle Association (PEMODA), with mostly retired individuals as members, actively participating in various charity and community service projects.
