Chinese actors Dilraba Dilmurat and Chen Feiyu star in the costume drama "Lighting in the Day," which is currently airing and has sparked discussions about the actors' salaries.
According to 'Up Media,' Dilraba Dilmurat received a fee of up to NT$170 million (about MYR 21.27 million) for filming "Lighting in the Day," while Chen Feiyu only earned 3.5 million RMB (about MYR 2.03 million), less than one-tenth of Dilraba Dilmurat's fee.
The main reason speculated by the public is due to the vast difference in their fame and standing in the entertainment industry. In addition, after Chen Feiyu's bed photo scandal in 2023, his image took a nosedive, and his popularity naturally can't compare to Dilraba Dilmurat's.
