Miri Che Lee Khor 42nd Anniversary Celebration Over 70 Tables in a Lively Scene

(Miri, 6th) The Miri Che Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society celebrated its 42nd anniversary last night with a "Moral Education Night Banquet" at the Dynasty Hotel, attracting more than 70 tables and guests from various regions.

Additionally, the event showcased paintings made by the esteemed master of the Zhi Zhang Khor during spiritual guidance sessions, which were auctioned on-site. The starting price was 1,000 ringgit, and it was finally auctioned for 10,888 ringgit.

The Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, Justin Wong Chung Hong, expressed in his speech that the anniversary celebration was a great success. He first thanked the honorable ministers for their spiritual and financial support to ensure the smooth running of the event. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the moral leaders, enthusiastic moral brothers and sisters, and generous benefactors in society for their financial support, which made the preparation work possible.

Advisors of Zhi Li Khor, Dato’ Guo Hanzhong, Liu Mengwen, Khor Leader Bei Qingzhan, committee members, youth group, women’s group, and guiding group went on stage for a toasting ceremony, joyfully cheering 'Yum Seng'.

Justin Wong particularly thanked the representatives from various branches who came from afar, appreciating their efforts in attending the celebration, making the occasion more splendid. He also apologized to the representatives for any shortcomings in hospitality, hoping for their understanding.

Furthermore, Huang Zhongfeng thanked the Khor Leader and the Committee for giving him the opportunity to lead the celebration and expressed gratitude to all the enthusiastic, resilient, and cooperative members of the preparation committee, stating it was their collective efforts that led to the success of the event.

Finally, Justin Wong wished all the moral leaders, brothers, and sisters flourishing careers, happy families, good health, and all the best, and he looks forward to meeting again next year.
