On Tuesday morning, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping, accompanied by General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission Kim Jong Un, visited the Central Cadre School of the Workers' Party of Korea in Pyongyang.

Around 11 a.m., Xi Jinping arrived by car. Kim Jong Un welcomed him in front of the iconic emblem tower of the Workers' Party of Korea. Hundreds of faculty and students lined the road to greet them, and representatives presented flowers to Xi Jinping.

Accompanied by Kim Jong Un, Xi Jinping entered the stepped lecture hall of the school. Inside, trainees sat neatly and attentively while an instructor was teaching a course on the DPRK's foreign relations, specifically on China-DPRK relations. As the two party general secretaries arrived, the faculty and students all stood and gave them a warm round of applause. Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un paused to observe the lecture, occasionally nodding in approval.

After leaving the stepped lecture hall, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un toured the campus by electric car, listening to introductions about the school's infrastructure and teaching arrangements along the way.

In a wooded area between teaching buildings, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un together wielded shovels to lay soil and carried water to irrigate, planting a fir tree. The fir tree, which remains evergreen throughout the seasons, symbolizes the everlasting vitality of China-DPRK friendship. Afterwards, in the presence of the top leaders of the two parties and countries, Cai Qi and Kim Jae Ryong, a member of the Political Bureau of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee and Central Secretary, jointly unveiled the plaque for the planted tree. On the front of the plaque, the words "Long Live China-DPRK Friendship" are engraved in both Chinese and Korean. Amidst the enthusiastic applause of accompanying personnel and DPRK trainees, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un shook hands and took a group photo in front of the plaque.

Cai Qi, Wang Yi and others participated in the above activities.
