PUTRAJAYA, Aug 3 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof will undergo heart bypass surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in the near future, following the advice of his medical team.
The matter was confirmed today in a statement by his press secretary, Datuk Misiah Taib, who also serves as Fadillah’s press secretary in his capacity as Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA).
Fadillah is reported to be in stable condition and has been advised to rest fully and refrain from receiving visitors to ensure uninterrupted treatment and recovery.
The family has requested that the public keep him in their prayers, hoping for a smooth surgery and treatment, and for his full recovery so that he may return to his duties as usual.
