(Miri, 26th) Miri Mayor and Pujut State Assemblyman YB Adam Yii allocates funds to advance the enhancement of the futsal field in Pujut Jaya, further improving the public facilities in the area, providing surrounding residents with higher quality recreational and activity spaces.
Adam Yii inspected the progress of the construction today and reminded the contractors to ensure the quality of the project, with all works strictly executed according to the engineer's drawings and specifications. He also urged strict adherence to the project timeline to ensure its smooth completion.
He stated that this enhancement project is implemented through the Rural Transformation Plan (RTP) allocations provided by the Sarawak government to each ruling party legislator, aiming to improve basic public facilities in the constituency and create a more comfortable and livable environment for residents. The enhancement project will provide residents with a comfortable space suitable for hosting various activities.
The project includes constructing a reinforced concrete stage equipped with a steel frame structure, metal cladding, ceiling, and heavy-duty durable tiles for stage flooring and steps to ensure durability and safety.
Additionally, the project will build two women's restrooms, one men's restroom, and one accessible (OKU) restroom, fully equipped with modern and necessary facilities such as accessible accessories, toilets, urinals, washbasins, mirrors, doors, windows, ventilation fans, ceiling, lighting fixtures, tissue holders, gender signs, etc. Moreover, all restroom walls will be tiled with heavy-duty wear-resistant tiles, and the flooring will use anti-slip tiles to ensure safety and durability.
Adam Yii emphasized that once the project is completed, it will not only enhance the overall environment of Pujut Jaya but also provide the local residents with more complete infrastructure. He hopes this enhancement plan will benefit more residents and encourages everyone to make good use of this public resource to promote community harmony and physical and mental development.
