81-year-old entertainer Fung Shui-fan, who has lived in Taiwan for over 40 years, suddenly made headlines on the 7th after news broke of his hospitalization, quickly drawing the attention of netizens. It turns out that he was admitted to the hospital back in May due to physical discomfort and stayed for two months; at the time, he posted photos on social media showing himself relying on an oxygen machine, but this is not his current situation.

On May 30, Fung Shui-fan posted that he had just been discharged from the hospital, openly admitting that he was not fully recovered. At that time, he appeared noticeably thin and visibly haggard. In the photo, Fung Shui-fan is seen wearing glasses with a medical nasal cannula attached to his nose—he needed the oxygen machine to assist his breathing due to low blood oxygen levels. In his post, Fung Shui-fan shared: “Hospitalized for a full two months and three days, I feel completely numb!

Yesterday I was finally discharged, but not yet fully recovered. As my blood oxygen levels are still low, I’ll have to rely on an oxygen concentrator for a while.” Confronted with his condition, he could not help but sigh, and his words betrayed a sense of resignation: “After all, once you reach a certain age, it’s out of your control—you just have to accept it.”

On the 6th, Fung Shui-fan posted a message wishing everyone a “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival.” Despite still recovering and actively cooperating with treatment, he hasn’t forgotten to connect with his fans online. Many fans have left encouraging messages, wishing him a speedy recovery.
