Thailand's 'Golf Jie' Seduces High Monks: 80,000 Explicit Videos Rock the Buddhist Community!

The Thai Buddhist community is reeling from a shocking scandal. A woman claiming to be a 'donor,' known online as 'Golf Jie,' has been exposed for years of financial dealings with at least 12 respected Buddhist monks. She is also suspected of developing improper relationships, even possessing multiple intimate photos and videos, plunging the Thai sangha’s reputation to new lows.

According to Thai police investigations, the woman frequented various famous temples for years under the guise of a 'faithful donor.' Wearing designer brands and driving luxury cars, she drew close to high monks under the pretext of making donations, gradually building relationships. Police have documented bank transfers between her and 12 to 13 high monks, among whom at least 8 are implicated in 'intimate relationships', supported by visual evidence.

What’s even more shocking is that among these monks, there are not only leading abbots, chief monks, and even key officials in Thailand's Buddhist administration. Many of the monks involved have now 'quietly disrobed,' yet the uproar continues as public opinion surges.

One well-known monk who has already left the fold, the former abbot of Buddha Shadow Temple, Phra Ted Wachirathiraphon (Dharma name: ประดิษฐ์ ฐิตเมโธ), confessed to police that he had met the woman via social media in 2019. What started as an approach for charitable purposes eventually developed into a romantic relationship.

He further revealed that during their passionate period, Golf Jie had gifted him a luxury SUV 'for religious affairs' and they even discussed him leaving the monkhood to marry. However, after learning that the woman maintained relationships with several other monks, he became furious and considered exposing everything himself—but police obtained evidence first and advised him to disrobe.

The Thai Anti-Corruption Investigation Unit is now focusing on whether the funds involved came from temple assets or donor funds, rather than just being private transfers. If so, the former monks involved could face charges of embezzlement of temple property, fraud, and money laundering.

Police also indicated that 'Golf Jie' did not act alone. She was supported by several other women, forming what seems to be a network approaching monks under the cover of 'donations.' These women not only befriended high monks, but also sought to obtain intimate material, some of which was allegedly used as blackmail.

As the police investigation deepens, more monks’ identities continue to surface. At least 10 monks have been named so far, including:

Phra Chao Pha Mok (Former Abbot of Chedi Song Temple)

Phra Chao Wachirathirakhun (Former Deputy Abbot of Phra Nan Temple)

Phra Chao Wachirathiraphon (Former Abbot of Buddha Shadow Temple)
