Pakatan Harapan Kedah State Chairman Dato' Seri Saifuddin Nasution stated that the National Alliance's achievement of 33 state seats in Kedah is their peak performance, and he believes the green wave will gradually recede in the future.
He believes that if Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional provide good service during this period, voters may turn to support the unity government. Currently, Pakatan Harapan in Kedah has fully activated its election machinery, aiming to regain the governing power in Kedah.
He mentioned that the support rate of political parties has its ups and downs, and even though the National Alliance currently holds an advantage, their support rate has reached its highest point, and it is believed that it will enter a declining phase next.
He remarked on this when attending a grand gathering of Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional in Kedah.
Commenting on the statement made earlier by Kedah's Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Sanusi about "waiting for the government," Saifuddin quipped that it is the National Alliance that holds the "waiting for the government" role, while Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional have actively begun their work, believing that the people will notice this, and the final decision will be revealed in the next state election.
He emphasized that Pakatan Harapan will continue to strategize and work hard for the welfare of the Kedah people.
"Ultimately, it all depends on the wisdom of the Kedah people. As long as there is continuous effort, nothing is impossible in this world."
The leaders attending the grand gathering included Barisan Nasional Kedah Chairman and UMNO Kedah Chairman Dato' Seri Mazhil Kali, DAP Kedah Chairman Tan Kok Yew, AMANAH Kedah Chairman Asmirul, Kedah Youth Chief and Sungai Petani MP Taufik Johari, and DAP Indera Kayangan Assemblyman Teh Choon Meng, among others.
