(Miri, 24th) Sarawak Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin today inspected the SKAS beneficiaries Sarawak ID and SPay Global registration activity held at the Miri Civic Center.
During a media interview, Lee Kim Shin stated that over 71,000 people in Miri are SKAS beneficiaries, but only 28,488 have registered.
He urged those encountering issues with registration or SPay to seize the opportunity to resolve their problems at the Civic Center, and he also thanked SPay Global for sending a team to Miri to serve the community.
“As of 4 PM today, 445 people have registered, among whom 303 were new registrants, 127 faced technical issues, and 15 either did not have a smartphone or were not registered with the welfare department.”
It is understood that this activity will take place from today until the 26th, from 8 AM to 5 PM at the Miri Civic Center for beneficiaries to register, with 20 service counters set up on site.
