(Miri, 22nd) Miri Piasau is about to welcome a brand new riverside park! The park is located by the riverside of the Piasau Road commercial center and is set to become a great place for Miri residents to relax and unwind while bringing more traffic and commercial value to the area.
Pujut constituency's state assemblyman YB Adam Yii led a team today to inspect the progress of the project and emphasized to the contractor the need to ensure construction quality and complete the project on time.
He stated that this project not only enhances the local environment but also provides residents with a safe and comfortable leisure space. He hopes the contractor will strictly control the process and advance the project according to the plan.
This project is being constructed with funding from the Rural Transformation Plan (RTP) and is divided into two phases. The first phase currently underway includes the construction of a running track, viewing platform, fences, seats, and the planting of cherry blossom trees to create a beautiful natural landscape for the citizens.
Notably, the park will directly overlook the Piasau Nature Reserve and the old Piasau Bridge, which not only enhances the scenic value along the river but also helps promote local eco-tourism. In the future, the further enhancement of the park is expected to attract more tourists and businesses, driving economic development in the area. The park's construction also aligns with Miri's vision of becoming a livable international city.
Adam Yii expressed that he will continue to pay attention to the project progress to ensure that residents can enjoy this brand-new leisure park as soon as possible. He also thanked the voters in the Pujut constituency for their strong support, which further improves the public facilities in the constituency and provides a better quality living environment for the nearby residents.
