Miri Che Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society Hosts Disaster Relief Event

(Miri, 22nd) In order to assist residents affected by disasters to overcome difficulties, the Miri Che Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society held a disaster relief event at 9:30 am yesterday in Sibuti. Aid funds and daily necessities were distributed to affected families, spreading warmth and care within the community.

This event received a sponsorship of RM10,000 from the United Moral Uplifting Society Malaysia, which was distributed to the disaster victims by the Miri Che Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society. Meanwhile, the Moral Uplifting Society East Malaysia donated RM5,000 specifically to support the disaster relief efforts of the Miri Che Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society.

Representatives from the Miri Che Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society handed over aid funds and supplies at the Balai Raya Kampong Ranchah-ranchah, benefiting the disaster victims from Kampung Ranchah-ranchah and Kampung Tengah, providing them with timely assistance.

In terms of material distribution, the Miri Che Lee Khor Moral Uplifting Society supported 50 families, with each household receiving a cash red packet of RM200 and food supplies worth RM60. Additionally, Tong Seng Huat Rice Trading Company generously donated 200 bags of rice, ensuring each family received two bags of rice.
