Prabowo Subianto and Alexander Lukashenko signed multiple cooperation documents at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday, covering fields such as culture, health, science and technology, and finance, further deepening bilateral relations between the two countries.
In a joint statement, Prabowo stated that Indonesia and Belarus will strengthen cooperation in social culture and human resource development, including promoting cultural exchanges and reinforcing partnerships between educational institutions and vocational training entities.
He said that in addition to cooperation in politics, economy, trade, agriculture, industry, and defense, strengthening social and cultural ties was also one of the key topics of this meeting.
He pointed out that Indonesia and Belarus are committed to continuously deepening bilateral relations through more targeted and concrete cooperation.
On the same day, both sides also officially launched the "Indonesia–Belarus Cooperation Enhancement Roadmap 2026 to 2030," which serves as an important framework for the development of bilateral cooperation over the next five years.
Prabowo stated that this roadmap reflects the common commitment of both countries to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation and lays the foundation for future cooperation in various fields.
In addition to cultural cooperation, delegations from both sides also signed a number of cooperation documents involving healthcare, culture, national certification, financial transaction reporting, industry, science and technology, and financial services, among other areas.
Prabowo expressed hope that the cooperation agreements reached can be implemented as soon as possible to bring tangible benefits to the peoples of Indonesia and Belarus.
