MOSCOW, Nov. 15 (Bernama-RIA Novosti) -- The United States has signed a contract worth more than US$33.1 billion with a group of companies to conduct research and development in the interests of the US Department of Defence, reported Sputnik, quoting the Pentagon.
The department said in a statement that Delta Resources from Washington, as well as General Dynamics Information Technology and Modern Technology Solutions from Virginia "are being awarded a maximum (of) US$33,164,000,000 ceiling, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract … This contract provides for the Department of Defence Information Analysis Centre, part of the Defence Technical Information Centre, to support research and development across the Department of Defence."
Details of the areas of work are not specified, but the department noted that the work will be finished by September 29, 2027.
